Nail Review + Demo : First Kiss nail wrap

Hi everyone, today is a review + demo post for nail wraps.

Video demonstration:

Preparation:
Before we started nail wrap, we will need to prepare our nail first.
The main thing to do is to get rid of all the grease from your nail. You can gently go over your nail with nail polish remover first, just to remove excess grease.

Brand information:
Brand : First Kiss New York
Price : HKD$68
Place to get : Sasa
Claims : Lasts up to 10 days
Special : 3D effects & fashion forward
Content : 28 nail wraps of different sizes + nail file

Close up for the 3D rhine stone effect.

The package contain 3 pack of nail wraps of different size that suppose to fit your toe and your finger nail, together with instruction guide book.

Steps:
Step 1)
Choose the right size
Simply match the nail wrap with your finger nail, should pic one that is slightly larger than your nail, as your nail do have some curve. ^^

Step 2) Peel the nail wrap off and stick it on your nails
Start from the bottom part of your nail, stick on from the center, then two sides and edges.

Step 3) Scrape off the excess nail wraps
You can either cut off the excess nail wraps first, so you can save those for next time. Or you can do it like me (lazy way) scrape it off directly in one direction "DOWNWARD".

Don't do it in up and down motions, you may peel the nail wrap off.

Follow the steps to complete all the other nails. Just that simple~ ^^

Review:
For HKD$68, I think this nail wrap is pretty good. That's a couple of reasons why I say so.
Below image show you how much left behind after my 1st usage. Well you can pretty much save this for 2nd time use or you can cut it into different shape for some special nail art effect partially. :P

This is the 4th day after my nail is done.

You can see the edges is kind of damage a little bit, since I am a office lady and most of my time is doing paper work and typing... etc.

But so far I think it stay put and it won't peel off when you wash your hair which is quite amazing.

Okay... for scoring, I basically look at 4 aspects:

1) Easy to use - 5

Okay, First kiss nail wrap when compare to other brand it is kind of thick which is a good thing if you are beginner for nail wrap. Thicker nail wrap is always much easier to control and not easy to get wrinkling and bubbles when you apply it.

Moreover it comes with nail file in one pack, comes in really handy. ^^ Good!!!

2) Lasting power - 4
It claim it can last for 10 days, but ar... I am not so sure. Since in my 4th day of using it, it do chip a little bit... well not really chipping but it will slightly scrape back a little bit. :P Although it stay put without any peeling off happen. I don't think it can last for 10 days really.

3) Choices - 4
Sasa only carry 8 different styles in the whole collection. Well not much to chose from.
But 3D effect is kind of special while compare to other brand like sally handson... etc.

4) Comfy - 3
Personally, I don't really get use to nail which have this kind of bump texture, it make me feel so uncomfortable that want to scratch those bumps off. :P

Overall - 4
I will say it is quite nice package for beginner and it worth the money for more than one time use. ^^

4) Apply 1 coat of grey nail polish

5) Remove the tape, you can use a tweezer if needed

Faves : 2012 June Favorites ヾ(●⌒∇⌒●)ノ

Hi everyone, is the time of the month... :P
Let me show you my favorite items in June 2012.

1) Skincare:

Okay in the early June I go to my favorite place LUSH again... You know me, I lOVE LUSH <3. Organic product again and I pick up this "Tea Tree Water" Toner. I have used it for a while and I feel so happy using it.

It comes in a big spray bottle like this. You just spray on your face directly after wash your face. It feels so cooling and refreshing. It absorb into your skin and make it so supple. Love it really.

This product is for oily and spot prone skin which is perfect for me. Yes, I have really really oily skin and acne prone too. Tea tree in it works as both antibacterial and antiseptic natural chemical which works wonder for acne skin. ^^

Great stuff Love this. <3

2) Haircare:

Next item is for haircare and it is from LUSH again. NOT SPONSOR... I purchase all this with my own money. ^^

Okay... I am not sure if you have experience something like this before, so when you wake up you take a shower before you work but at the end of the day (especially this hot summer dayszzzz) Your hair or your scalp, more often your bangs (which constantly hitting your forehead) will get greasy and stick together.

Which really looking not so nice AT ALL. o.O

At this moment, this product is going to safe you. This stuff works great if you have oily scalp, it comes in this big plastic bottle of white powder.

So you can do it either put it on your hand and then rub it onto your scalp or you just sprinkle it on your head, shake your hair lightly so the powder is going to sink onto your scalp. Then brush through your hair, it will instantly give you a dry and refresh look.

The powder will become invisible, you don't have to worry about it will make your hair look ashy. Moreover it can create a little volume on the root too~!!! SO GREAT!!!~

3) Hair tools:

Next item is hair setting tools - "SCREW PIN"

If you are top knock / high-bun fans like me, this screw pin is going to be your life saver. One screw pin can actually replace 5 U-pin in my opinion. Hold your hair style really still and tight.

And it is only HKD$10 for 2. Really good deal~!!!

4) Nail care:

Top coat favorite this month is this Dry Fast Top Coat from Seche Vite.

This top coat appears to be a little bit sticky and gluey than regular top coat and it dry super duper fast. You can walk out the door within 5-10 minute after you apply this top coat. It dry fast and give u really shiny glossy finishing. Lov Lov Lov it~!!!

5) Snack:

I pass by City Super and see this... Does it look familiar to you.??? It is Chelsea... but not candy anymore, it biscuit version this time.

I use to love chelsea candy in my high-school period.. but it discontinued and now it is in a form of biscuit version. So I am curious on trying this, how is this biscuit going to relay to the candy.!???

So I brought 2 of this the green one is lemon and vanilla and red one is rich caramel. I prefer the red one as it have a really delicious caramel filling. The first bit the caramel filling will be kind of crispy but when you start screwing it, it melt and fill your month with rich caramel flavor...yum yum yum <3

HKD$26 / box and each box got individual pack of 4. Each pack have 2 biscuits. Yup... pitty expensive... and the thing is, it is something completely different from the candy before. haha~ Anyhow... still delicious :P

6) Cute stuff:

Yeah!!! My cute stuff this month is the cute "Chan Pui Mui" Cushion I got from Ocean Park. My friend won this form me in some game booth.

Really really Love it <3<3<3<3
Thx Demo your Amazing DARTS skills haha~ ^^

Want to see how we won this pair, check out the video link above. haha~
So HAPPY!!! YAYAYA~

Hope you like this June Favorite 2012. ^^
