How-to: Finding ... ur perfect match!!!

Hello everybody,

Today I am going to share with u some of my tips & tricks in finding your perfect matching foundation!!! Yeah!!!

So I know how hard it is in picking perfect color matching foundation in the drug store and me myself as well have tried so many time. Picking & trying & testing... usually takes me more then half an hour to figure out with shade "MAY BE" suit me... T.T

Okay, so here I am sharing my own experience and tips to find your perfect matching foundation in drug store. ^^

So as normally in drug store environment  we don't have the sale ladies helping us to pick up the "Right" matching shade and yes gals, we are completely on "OUR OWN" and it is even more sad in Hong Kong as we don't even have the return policy... >.<

But... you don't have to worry anymore... here it is a few tricks in picking your "PERFECT"shade...

Video demonstration:

Tips:
1) Wear an open-neck / V-neck shirt

It might sounds a little weird but it is very true to prepare yourself. As we are going to test the foundation using our neck or chest area. Never test foundation on your face... It will match your face but It won't match your neck and chest area and a lot of time we don't have perfect matching neck and face... (I am a little dull and redness on my face white comparing with my neck).

So you need to test it right there. Right at the "NECK / CHEST" area. :P

2) Don't believe what you see at the bottle

Don't be too lazy to place your face right next to the foundation bottle. Try the tester...
As normally what you see in the bottle is usually not the color that is going to show up on your face. Moreover, they are actually... not that accurate.

3) Wait 5-10 minutes

Foundation tends to oxidant a little bit, the shade you freshly swatch on your neck and chest area usually goes a little lighter than what u will see after 10 minutes. So... give it a good amount of 5-10 minutes before you check up the mirror. The foundation will be more true to color at that time. ^^

4) Try to test 2-3 shade at a time

Don't test out just one color, try 2-3 shade at a time and compare it in different lighting.
You will see the difference in yellow light and white light. It is going to help your judge and compare the right shade.

So here you have my tips on picking up your "PERFECT" match!!!
Hope you guys like it and find this helpful.
