Cooking : Flip over apple pie

Hello everyone~!!!

This week topic is awesome "Flip Over" Apple pie!!!
Yeah~
Super easy and really really delicious!!!

Yup... especially if you like french toast and spongy cake like me!!!
You are going to LOVE this Applie Pie :P

Video tutorial:

So the ingredient is very easy, you will need...

Ingredient:

1) Big Fuji Apple         x 1
2) Danish Bread         x 2 1/2 piece
3) Whole milk             x half bowl
4) Egg                         x 3
5) Sugar                      x 2 table spoon
6) Honey                     x 3 table spoon

Just that simple, for the sugar, prefer to use yellow sugar the best,
as it can give you a very nice goldenly color...
But I don't have that on hand so I use regular sugar instead~ ^^

Tools:

1) Small source-pan
2) Plate
3) Folk / chopsticks

The size of the small source-pan should be at least an inches deep and
just smaller than the size of a regular plate.

Steps:

1) First thing you need to do is to peel off the skin of the apple.

2) Cut the apple in small slices and soak it in water just to prevent it from oxidizing.

3) Arrange danish bread on the small source-pan, just to cover the whole surface.

4) Pour in the whole milk and spread them out so every piece of bread absorb the milk.

5) Turn on the heat to "LOW". <<< (very important)

6) Beat 3 eggs in a bowl.

7) Slowly pour in the egg so the denmark bread will cover with egg fluid.

8) Leave it for about a couple of minute until you can see the edge is almost done.

9) Use a folk / chopsticks and go over the edges, give it a little shake, you can feel the mixture can easily separate from the pan.

10) Turn the heat off and place the plate facing downward and cover the source-pan.

11) Quickly "FLIP" it over.

12) >.< Mine got a little burn... but that's okay it actually taste not very noticeable ~ :P

So we set it aside, we are going to cook the apple now. In the source-pan again, take the apple slices away from the water and place it on the pan, a little overlapping each pieces and form a circle.

13) Turn on the heat to "HIGH" <<< (Don't worry, apple can withstand very high heat)

14) Cook the apple for about 3-5 minutes to evaporate the water on the apple surface.
15) Add the 2 tablespoon of sugar (best prefer yellow sugar btw).

16) After a minute or 2, add 3 tablespoon of honey.

17) Cook until the mixture turns a little golden yellowish brown.

18) Cook the sugar a while and it should get really bubbly right now.

19) Slide the bread back to the source-pan with boiling apple honey syrupy.

20) Gentle press the bread so it absorb the apple honey syrupy.

21) Place the plate facing downward and cover the source-pan again.

22) Quickly "FLIP" it over again.

Wah-la, we're DONE~!!!

It taste so much like a sponge cake immerse in delicious apple syrupy.
Fresh apple slices with a little bit of sourness just brings everything together.

So... Hope you like this delicious Apple pie. ^^
