Faves : 2012 Feb Favorites

Hi Everyone,

It's that time of the month :P. haha~ Don't get me wrong. It's Monthly Favorite - Feb 2012.

100% natural Coconut oil (skin & hair / revitalizing)

Last time purchase coconut oil from iherb.com and use it to clean my face makeup. So far I am loving this stuff. It cleanses all my makeup, even waterproof eyeliner and mascara, at the same time moisturize it. Your skin feel so soft and smooth.

One thing, it is kind of difficult to use. I mean you need to melt it down first before you use it. As it is solid fat in room temperature, you need to heat it up first. I let it seat on hot water for a few minute until it become liquid oil then I use a little spatula to take a little bit and rub it into my face. NOTICE: you need to use warm water to remove coconut oil on your face or you can simply go a shower afterwards.

Dispute all the steps you need to go through before you use it, it is a great stuff and natural way to remove your make up and it is super cheap. ^^ USD$5 dollar for whole jar... what can you say about it... the price just can't beat.

It also can use as a moisturize treatment for your hair as well which is so amazing...!!!

Thayers Alcohol-free toner (Rose petal witch hazel)

2nd thing is this witch hazel toner and I love this stuff. Well if you are not familiar with witch hazel. It is actually a natural organic astringent that can help minimize the pore, cleans and moisturize your face. It is alcohol free so for those of you who is sensitive to alcohol will be safe to use it.

I even use it whenever I go out from the shower and I need some extra moisture to my face. I wet 2 cotton pad with this toner and then just use them on my chic as a sheet mask. It moist and make my skin feel so so soft. Love it.

Clarisonic Mia

This clarisonic mia have been with me for more than a year and I could say this is definitely a good investment as it is durable and it is very very portable and works wonder.

I like Mia as it is small and light that I can bring it to travel and every time I charge it. The electricity can last me for a month. Which is pretty amazing.

How it work is basically very simple, so there is a grey button at the centre. So you use your regular cleanser on your face first, and start the clarisonic, it will run automatically for 1 minute which the brush start to vibrate. Then you use it on your face in circular motion to exfoliate dead skin. It does an amazing job with keeps your skin so soft and clear.

It comes in 3 different type of brush head, sensitive, soft and normal which suit different need for your skin.

Lush - Veganese conditioner

If you have follow my youtube channel you know that I love this conditioner. It smell exactly like the "SUGAS" lemon candy. Veganese is suitable for sensitive scalp and it can be used for all hair type. You can even use it on your scalp.

It works wonder on my scalp and makes my hair super duper soft. I got a very sensitive scalp, that tends to get oily very easily. This conditioner give me just enough of conditioning without weight down my hair and my scalp just feel so refreshing after I use it.

And the LEMON SCENT can last all day!!!! <3

1 thing I am gotta complain is that it is very expensive, for HK$200 dollar and you get 500g of conditioner is freaking expensive. I will spend my little moment with it, try to use it when I really really want to. :P

Lavera - Blemish stick

I have been using this concealer stick for more than half year. It is by Lavera - a German company. It is great for pimple and acne as it contains tea tree and mint with all of us know is great for drying up acne and inhibit the growth of it. It can also cover up acne scar.

I use it whenever I have a pimple already or I can feel a pimple is going to grow out ... :P So I use it to kind of conceal and dry up the pimple much quicker.

As you see it is in a peachy tone so it is perfect for concealing dark acne scar or redness. Stick form you will know that the formula will be kind of dry and thick. So remember don't use it for dark circle... otherwise you will end up with caking your eyes...which is no good.

You can warm it up on your finger first before you apply it for a thinner and lighter consistence.

Suncoat girl water based nail polish # Mermaid Blue

Another product I purchased from iherb.com is this organic natural nail polishes from Suncoat girl. This polish is very very SPECIAL. I say it as you can actually peel the whole thing off your nail. That ridiculously amazing!!!

I have try wear it alone and with top, base coat. It is good enough if you have a great top coat. As you see in this picture...

I wear it for more that a week and it keep in a veyr good condition. I was wearing base coat and then 2 layers of the nail polish color follow by a top coat. The color on my pinky is with top and base coat. for the ring finger and middle finger I already remove the top coat. You can see the color pay off is slightly different. Just top coat make it a little bit shinier.

Okay as you see, I can remover the whole nail polish by just peeling it off without it stinking my nail. So I think you probably don't need a base coat. If you paint base coat like what I do here, when you remove and peel the nail polish off, it will make some streaky marks on your nail. But it is fine, you just need some nail polish remover again and that can be removed.

But really I don't think you need base coat. However top coat is essential. As it can kind of lock up or seal up the bottom color so that I won't peel off that easy.

I love this polish so far. I think the formulation is great. It is safe natural and won't stink your nail is a big +. I think I will try another one from this brand soon, just wish they will have more color variation as I see in their web site only got around 2x colors.

Anyway, like it, love it... <3
